“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” Deuteronomy 33:27
God loves to fellowship with us. We, in turn, should love to have fellowship with fellow Christians. One way to do this is to set time apart each week to attend church. It doesn’t take a whole lot out of our week and yet you will walk away happier, refreshed, challenged and ready for the week.
One special way our church helps us with this, is a monthly meal at the end of the Sunday evening service. We bring in food, lots of it, and have a good extra hour of fellowshipping and just being encouraged by one another.
God set the example of us fellowshipping with other believers by fellowshipping with us. It is such a joy to fellowship with God. He is always there for us. This song is such a great testimony to the amazing love our Heavenly Father has for us. How is your fellowship with Him?
What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
So, if you need me tomorrow, I’ll be out fellowshipping!

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” I John 1:3
