When we put our trust in God it leads us to a greater, better life. This life is now held in His hands and He directs our steps. As humans, we have a natural tendency to want to control things but as Christians letting God lead is far greater. The peace that comes from knowing God is in control of our lives means that no matter the circumstances we can rejoice.
Pierre and I have moved often and God has led us to so many wonderful places. We have often been surprised in looking back at the experiences we have had. We never would have thought of them but God did. He wanted us to experience the best in this life by serving Him. Each time we have moved, He has given us something to rejoice about. He has taught us much in each situation we have been in.
I sang this song in church yesterday and it reminded me that there IS no greater joy than to follow God’s will for therein lies peace.
When we are willing to let God lead in our lives, the rest of our emotions, feelings and thoughts fall naturally in line with His will.
God looked down from His home in the skies
How could He choose someone worthless as I?
I’ll never know but I’ll surrender and go.
All I can be is willing.
He could have chosen someone mighty and strong
Or someone who hardly does anything wrong.
Why He chose me, I don’t know but I’ll go.

You may think you’re too weak or too small
That means nothing to God at all.
He’ll use you I know so just surrender and go
All you need me is willing.
Don’t let imperfection stand in your way
Walk in His perfect will day after day.
Just trust Him and go His love to others show
