You Are….How Does God See You?

Do you ever have moments when you wonder who you are, why you’re here and who is even noticing? I think we all have moments like this but in God’s wisdom, He has provided us with a Book that can help us through these moments and make us see our own beauty and worth. God’s Word is all we need to feel fulfilled in our life and to know we are worthy and have a purpose here.  How precious is God’s Word. Let’s find out what God’s Word says.

YOU ARE…

Beautiful – They say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Think about God Who beholds you every day as you read this verse from Psalm 45:11. You are beautiful to Him because He created you and loves you. Rest in this peace! “So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.”

Unique – When God made YOU, He made you so special that even if you’re a twin – you’re still unique.

God made you special like no one else you see,
God made you a witness to His diversity.

How great is our God but how mind blowing that His uniqueness in creating each one of us knows no bounds! “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)

Loved – such a rich word; such a needy word in our day and age. So many people feel so unloved. This verse in Jeremiah has always been one of my favorites because without my God, my Heavenly Father, I’d feel so unloved at times. Run to Him, be loved by Him, feel His unconditional love pour over you. It is everlasting! “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

Created for a purpose – Have you read the book of Jeremiah? Jeremiah didn’t have a single convert in his lifetime but the truths he shared from his prison pit and from the hard times he went through – just so encouraging today. God knew Jeremiah would be talking to people who didn’t want to listen. God knew Jeremiah’s beginning to end. He created him for a purpose.

Jeremiah fulfilled that purpose and God gave to him an expected end – eternal life – peace and rest in God’s heaven. What about you? Are you fulfilling the purpose you were created for? Stay strong and endure because God knows where and how your story will end. He’s there! I love this verse, too. Ponder these words in Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Precious – Bought with a price, I’m not my own, I belong to Jesus. I can’t even remember the rest of this song but I sure love the beginning of it. Just thinking on these words are sobering to me. Jesus bought us with His blood, HIS death on the cross, His life – that price was all. I’m not my own – I now belong to Him. I owe Him my all – my life, my service, my talents. Is that terrifying? No! I am so overjoyed that when He knocked, I answered. Heaven is assured – guaranteed and because of His sacrifice for me – I now want my whole life to be for Him.

Strong to the end is what my husband and I talk about. There is such joy in serving Jesus that I don’t know why anyone would not be willing to give their all not just for the love of the Savior but for the price He paid for us!!! Glorify God today in all you do! “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (I Corinthians 6:20)

Do you see now? You are so much more than you can even imagine to God. You can walk through this life with such joy because YOU belong to HIM!! What does He say?

YOU ARE MINE…

Has that sunk in yet? You are your Savior’s. Do you know Him? He is waiting. Remember, you are His as a child of God. Don’t let anyone steal that joyful knowledge from you. Isaiah 43:1 says, “I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” He has called us – individually.  He has redeemed us – individually. WE ARE IMPORTANT to Him – individually. Wrap yourself in that truth; harbor it in your soul and when the devil comes to tempt – remind him Who you belong to!!!

I belong to the King; I’m a child of His love,
I shall dwell in His palace so fair,
For He tells of its bliss in yon Heaven above,
And His children in splendor shall share.

(Refrain)
I belong to the King; I’m a child of His love,
And he never forsaketh His own.
He will call me some day to His palace above;
I shall dwell by His glorified throne.

I belong to the King, and He loves me I know,
For His mercy and kindness so free
Are unceasingly mine wheresoever I go,
And my refuge unfailing is He.

I belong to the King, and His promise is sure:
That we all shall be gathered at last
In His kingdom above, by life’s waters so pure,
When this life with its trials is past.

Spending time worshiping God and adoring Who He is and what He has done for you brings such joy in your life.  Choose joy!
