“When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” Joh 38:7
When He cometh, when He cometh
To make up His jewels,
All His jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.
He’s coming! He will gather His loved ones and bring us home! We are His jewels!
He will gather, He will gather
The gems for His kingdom;
All the pure ones, all the bright ones,
His loved and His own.
Gifts of precious jewels are always wrapped up in special boxes with ribbons and tissue paper. They are handled carefully and with great respect. We, His children, are His precious jewels. He is now and will forever take care of us.

Little children, little children,
Who love their Redeemer,
Are the jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.
I love the third verse as the author describes the jewels are those of us who know our Redeemer. We are His and we are known by Him!
What a precious sight we will all make gathered in glory and being His gems. The joy can not be expressed of the beauty, peace and purity yet to come.
Like the stars of the morning,
His brightness adorning,
They shall shine in their beauty,
Bright gems for His crown.
He’s coming. Are you one of His jewels? The song writer knew that when we are a child of God’s we are like jewels and I love that he referenced this verse in Malachi in his first verse. The old hymns are rich with Scripture which make them amazing songs to worship God with.
