Let Him Lead – What Could Go Wrong?

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

Would you live for Je­sus,
And be al­ways pure and good?
Would you walk with Him
Within the nar­row road?
Would you have Him bear your bur­den,
Carry all your load?
Let Him have His way with thee.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” I Peter 5:7

Would you have Him make you
Free, and fol­low at His call?
Would you know the peace
That comes by giv­ing all?
Would you have Him save you,
So that you can nev­er fall?
Let Him have His way with thee.

“Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.” Deuteronomy 5:33

Would you in His king­dom
Find a place of con­stant rest?
Would you prove Him true
In pro­vi­den­tial test?
Would you in His serv­ice la­bor
Always at your best?
Let Him have His way with thee.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

His pow­er can make you
What you ought to be;
His blood can cleanse your heart
And make you free;
His love can fill your soul,
And you will see
’Twas best for Him
To have His way with thee.

There is so many good reasons why we should let God lead in our lives on this earth.  The peace He gives and the joy in knowing Him exceeds all that we could ask or think.  Live FOR God today and know that He is making a way for us!
