“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
Life is hard. Even the little things every day seem to add up to mountains if we are not careful. Those moments of chaos when all we want is peace. These realities of hard times while living in a fallen world and when all we want is joy.
Joy is not something you grab and have forever but rather joy must be chosen every day and clung to if we want to find that peace and hope in our lives.
“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” John 16:22
Where do we find that joy? Psalm 16:11 tells us, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” God’s Word can help us find and keep that joy. Living in HIS presence is the one place to obtain joy. Are you living with joy today?
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 15:13
I have found His grace is all complete,He supplieth every need; While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet,I am free, yes, free indeed.
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,Full of glory, full of glory; It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,Oh, the half has never yet been told.
Joy can be found in sitting with a cup of coffee and reflecting on His goodness. We can find joy by opening His Word and being challenged in our daily walk. Joy can, of course, be found in singing the wonderful songs that give glory to HIS name. Find your joy today in Him!
