“And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.” Mark 8:31
Mondays tend to be super slow for me. Yes, even with Sundays being very laid back now. We attend a church with a small congregation and do a lot with the music but my girls help. However, because of my pain levels, being outside of my home twice for a few hours each time tend to slow me down Mondays.
I don’t talk much about that but I feel the need to say this.
My pain is nothing compared to what my Savior suffered.

My life is blessed because of what He did for me on the cross.
“For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.” Mark 9:31
This week we will dwell on this fact a bit more because of Easter. Christ went to the cross knowing what He would suffer. Yet, He loved me (and you) so much He didn’t falter. He went.
This salvation He gave for us is a humbling thought to me. I go through trials and I walk paths that are difficult on this life but I have the opportunity to walk with God BECAUSE of Christ’s death! I can lean on the Savior, my Redeemer, because of what He did for me!
All we can say today then is Hallelujah and take time to worship Him with my life!
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
