Blessed here means happy. I’m grateful today for the growth in my life that has brought me time and time again to that blessed place where I’m happy knowing I’m walking with godly people.
One of those would be my husband who weighs everything by God’s Word and when he is convicted on something, he stands firm and strong.
I pray often my kids will learn this strength to stand against ungodliness because then they will be blessed – HAPPY!

Lord, please give us Christian fathers,
Who will always trust the Lord.
May they lead their family worship
Gathered ‘round His Holy Word.
May they guide them to salvation
Teaching them to trust in God.
He will never then forsake them
Firm upon the Rock they trod.
Christian homes are needed strongly
Who will stand and take the lead.
Men who love God and walk boldly
Thru this evil earth, succeed.
To raise godly children ever
Who will trust and then obey
Firmly planted with His Spirit
Children never ever stray.
For when children grow up godly
And their homes established be.
They will read God’s Word together
Teaching it so faithfully.
Thanks to examples of their father
Who stood by God every day.
Their rewards will go unending
As they walk the narrow way.
O fathers remain faithfully
Don’t give up from day to day.
For your children and their children
Look to you in every way.
