Isn’t it lovely, the weekend is almost here and we can relax and do nothing, right? Okay, so an adult’s work is never done as we have food to prepare and laundry to fold and things to do but we can take some time to chill and I want to share with you one way I relax.
I have many artists in my home and I love watching them doodle, shape and paint. They make me want to be an artist and I’ve finally found a way to BE an artist! Enter Diamond Art and I’ve been able to create some cute, adorable, gorgeous pieces. They are so easy to do and a lot like color by number except now you’re working with little pieces we call “drills”. It’s a simple art but has a lot of impact and there are so many different things you can make from art for your wall to coasters to bookmarks and stickers. The possibilities are endless.
You can shop here and I always check out the clearance section for some fun pieces. June is a good friend of mine and does some amazing big pieces of Diamond Art. She can answer any and all questions you may have. Just leave them in the comments.
Check out this project I did which is a set of coasters. Aren’t they gorgeous?

This type of art can be relaxing and you can put on some beautiful music or an old movie and enjoy some art time. Here’s an idea for some music to listen to while relaxing and building your new hobby.
I enjoy this art as well as sewing projects and writing books. I love to read, first and foremost, as well as a way to relax. Whatever your hobbies are, keep them! We are a nation of active people but sometimes we need to just stop, pause and reflect on Him!
