Are You Looking Up? Are You Ready?

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” I Thessalonians 4:16

Have you looked up today? Have you seen the sky? One day we will all be looking up. Those of us who have placed our trust in Christ’s death, resurrection and return will be caught up together into heaven. This is called the rapture and where we do not know when it will happen, we can be assured that this life is not our eternal home and it will happen. Are you ready? I strongly suspect after this great event when suddenly a vast portion of people on the earth are suddenly gone, people will take to looking at the skies. Some will remember being witnessed to by their Christian family and friends. Some will be just confused and wondering what happened. Whatever the case, when they look up it will be too late for them. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day to call upon God and believe on His Son. Don’t get caught looking up at the skies too late! The words to this song, Pierre is playing have great hope and joy in them. Am I meeting you in the air?

There’s going to be a meeting in the air in the sweet, sweet by and by I am going to meet you, meet you over there in that home beyond the sky. Such singing you will hear never heard by mortal ear.
