EDIT: I wrote this when I first started this blog but I felt like I needed the reminder of this calming music after a crazy week. I hope you enjoy it, too!
For over 30 years I have been listening to this calming music as I cleaned my house, worked on school, wrote books or whatever I was doing during the day.
My husband is an amazing pianist. His mom started out teaching him as a young boy. Within a year he had surpassed his teacher and took off on his own. His attention to detail in each song is incredible and his strength as he plays shows such power.
When I first heard him play I was blown away. I don’t think I’ve ever lost the awe of his talent. In fact, he played the 45 minute prelude before our wedding (he swore it calmed his nerves). He played all the old hymns I loved so well.
We’ve played together over the years, he on the piano and I on the clarinet and when kids came along and they started playing instruments, our ensemble expanded.
Music is one of the best gifts you can give your children and I DO mean this! I’m so glad Pierre’s mom gave him the gift of music.
Here is a bit of him play and you can always subscribe to his channel to hear more. And while you are listening, feel free to grab one of my books on joy to read.

Have a blessed Saturday and wonderful Sunday. Joy comes when you serve others and have a song in your heart!
