Moms we have a tough job. From the time that baby enters our lives until we depart ours, we will always have our children on our minds.
Our day to day care of them as newborns and then toddlers and on into elementary school can wear us out, keep us tired and make us feel a bit blue. Even as they become independent and start doing things on their own, motherhood is never easy. We watch them spread their wings, make mistakes, pick themselves up and hopefully learn from said mistakes.
We spend many an hour praying for and caring about our children. What can we do when life as a mom becomes seemingly unbearable or even just difficult?
Look up! On our worst days, God is still on the throne. On our best days, He hasn’t moved. We can go to Him. I Chronicles 16:11 says it well.
“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”
