He Knows The Way That I Take

There’s a great sense of peace knowing my God knows the way I’m taking this very day. I’m not worried because I know He knows what will happen in my life today.  He knows MY way!

Whatever the loss, whatever the cost means that because my God knows the way I can follow Him with peace. In faith I know He loves me and will care for me. He created a new heart in me the day I got saved.  He is making sure that no matter the trials in my life, His name will be praised as I am purified and made complete in Him. Job 23:10 says it best. “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

In a world where everything is about me and myself, the Lord teaches us to put others first.  We need to be willing to even die for the cause of Christ. What is this cause? To help others to understand that there is life after death and you will only go to either heaven or hell is why we are here on earth as Christians.

We have one primary goal and that is to make sure those around us know that Jesus saves. May we walk in a way that will show others our lives are wholly for the Savior and may we share this verse from Romans 10:9 which says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

We’ve been given this amazing opportunity now to be a servant when we get saved. It isn’t a hard task or a trial but a joy to serve our Lord as well as those around us. In being a servant we not only take the gospel to those in need of hope but we live out the gospel in our daily lives as a holy people.

Jesus, Son of Man and God Himself, was our greatest example of servanthood. “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) Jesus not only set the example in living a servant’s life but He will encourage us as we continue to have a servant’s heart.

So your steps today are known by God. He will be walking each one with you. What hope, what joy, what peace is in all that!
