“The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” Psalms 34:17, 18
My Grandpa Moir was a poet who published two books of poems. He was always coming up with quick and quirky poems for people that had great meaning and truth to them. I still have the one he wrote just for me.
Trials – Have we had them this year? Absolutely! Are we still going through them? Most definitely! So, why must we walk through these trials?
TRIALS
The pathway is bumpy as I stumble along.
The way, it seems dreary and oh so long.
Where is the rest that’s been promised to me?
Why can’t I see God, O where could He be?
“My child, I’m here for you to turn to.
I never did leave, I’ve been beside you.
Rest and take comfort, and strength I will give.
Grace and peace and with hope you will live.
So God, He’s right here. He never did leave,
He gave me such hope as I followed His lead.
His Word brought such comfort and hope in despair.
I know that He always will answer my prayers.

God wants me to walk every path He has sent me down. I trust Him completely with every outcome.
No matter the outcome and whatever the paths I must walk today and in the future, I will acknowledge always my loving Savior Who gently reminds me to hand each heartache, every burden, every tear to Him?
Grateful today for the trials because they remind me that the best is yet to come.
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” II Corinthians 12:9
