I want to bring hope to you. I want to show you that in a dark world we have no need of fear or anxiety, depression or sadness because we have a hope so strong and so sure, we have no need to live in fear.
The foundation of our hope lies in what we will be focusing on tomorrow across our churches – the resurrection of a living Saviour. Christ came to earth as a babe. He came as God the Son living among us and after He died for the sins of the whole world, He rose again and that is where our hope now lies. We have hope because our Saviour lives. Of all the religions in the world, our Saviour is a living Saviour. Pick a religion, cult, etc and you’ll see their leader is dead, buried and not coming back. That can not be said of the Saviour of the world. He died for us but He also lives for us.
This song is amazing in its words because it encourages us that we can walk today with confidence knowing our Saviour lives. He is our Redeemer Who died to set us free. Job 19:25 says,
“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Job spoke these words at the lowest part of his life. His trials were harsh as he saw his children were dead, his crops and livestock ruined and his body broken. Yet, he exalted in his Saviour.
Today, start the Easter weekend with hope. Hope that because you know Christ as your Saviour you can walk with a lightness in your step and have no fear. What a way to start this month!
Enjoy this song choir at Faith Baptist church sung and ask God to give you that hope of heaven. ❤️
