The Bible Is For Us To Learn

Our lives are so busy and we have so many issues (big and little) that pop up daily and as moms we tend to go from putting out one fire to another.

If we can have some verses written down, whether on the fridge or in our hearts, they would give us 30 seconds, here and there throughout our day, to recharge and recognize the faithfulness of God.

Jeremiah 29:11“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

II Peter 3:18“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.“

Psalm 121:5,6“The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.”

Psalm 19:10“More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

Philippians 2:3,4“Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”

II Timothy 1:7“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Take some time for you today by reading these verses and rejoicing in them.  God’s faithfulness to us comes through His Word.  If you need to listen to music this song is beautiful and you can always find encouragement here.  Whatever you need in your life to find joy and bring peace, the best place is in His Word!  We live better when we live in the light of His Word.
