I think we do well these days to talk not only about godly living and how to live so. Also what happens when we do not live as Christ did while on this earth.
Christ had but a few great truths for us to live and He exemplified them daily. When we fail to live for Him and as a testimony of His saving grace, the devil finds pleasure in this.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
Just step away from God and our path can divert to ways that pleasure the devil. It doesn’t take much to see him rejoicing and I don’t want that personally. Living a life for Christ is so much richer and so much more fulfilling than living in such a way that makes the devil laugh at us.
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8
Corrie Ten Boom suffered greatly and could have blamed God for her lot in life but instead she choose to live FOR Him and in Him. God was glorified in her life.

May God find us faithful this week. I want to be found faithful in my life as I journey towards heaven. Whether I live another 30 years on earth or not, I want to be serving God with my whole being until the very end of my path.
